Hi, I am Désiree (23), an aspiring environmental journalist and blogger. I consider myself the least annoying vegan in the UK or that is what I want you to believe when you read my blog posts about veganism at least.

This blog is dedicated to environmental journalism and started as a university assessment. In my blog posts, I will inform you about recent environmental issues that are in my – and hopefully also in your – interest and share my thoughts on this world’s madness.

Mostly an optimist, always a writer.

Being from German origin I currently call the UK my home, while I am still doing my Journalism Master at the University of Lincoln.

I have a keen interest in travelling, scuba diving and dancing. I love writing about the things that I am passionate about including environmental and mental health issues, travelling, cultural differences as well as feminism.

Because I honestly believe that journalists can’t be objective and therefore should embrace what they are interested in as long as they can keep free from bias and any prejudices.
